job to another in order to provide some variety so as to minimize monotony and
boredom. Thus, in job rotation, a person is required to perform one job at a
time but he is rotated at different jobs after certain period of time. When an

Importance of a Planned Rotation Programme
A smart job rotation policies can go a long way in
eliminating or even reducing the de-motivation and demoralization of the
employees.
The nature of business plays an important role in
deciding whether job rotation would be beneficial to the organization or not.
For example, the concept of job rotation would not be very effective in
manufacturing organizations where every department needs skilled employees with
detailed knowledge of every process. The human resource team and to some extent the functional head need to make the employees aware of the importance of job rotation and how would it make them a complete professional.

ReplyDeleteExcellent that always right for all employees in different companies. As you know actually the main responsibility of an expert in organization is to be confident in terms of career development, when we talk about a large company with sophisticated tools. But what we saw is completely in contradiction, in opposite of what it was supposed to deliver in term of motivation as good power source for better result for organization success.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Job rotation in organization involves the movement of employees through a range of jobs in order to increase interest and motivation. Job rotation can improve "multi skilling" but also involves the need for greater training .However, Most of people do not receive a this kind of opportunity in a organization.
ReplyDeleteNicely specified Adikari ! Job rotation is kind of popular human resource strategy among some companies and industries, basically job rotation is where companies move employees around to various jobs within the organization in order to increase employee interest level and motivation. As per my perspective it is sort of hard task to follow within some organizations since it requires more employee training, and the employee training is very costly to do time to time.
